Notifications when event EOIs open

The system can be setup to send notifications to people whom either have opted to be informed about new events (via their 'Preferences' page), or;

• When new events are added or;

• When EOIs for events open (ie. if expression of interest requests can only be submitted a certain number of days, weeks or months before an event is due to start)

Open

Each morning, notifications are sent as required for events where EOIs have opened up that day.

New events/sharing events

By selecting “By default, notify people when EOIs for events open” in the configuration page, a notification will be sent out on the day expression of interest requests can submitted for an event.

In the instance the ‘New event notifications' are disabled, but EOI notifications are on, notifications will still get sent out when;

• An event is added

• An event is shared

These are sent under the following conditions;

• There isn’t any limitation on EOI submissions or;

• EOI requests can already be submitted (ie. if submissions can only be submitted within 2 months of an event, and it’s already within that 2 month period)
