Positions are similar to a the job title someone might have in an organisation. They are given a title (eg. Sales Consultant, or Business Analyst) which is carried with them no matter the location they work in.

The roles someone is assigned are different to their job title in that someone might work in numerous roles, but still retain the same title.

Positions can have certain skills & qualifications which are needed - these will be shown in the 'to-do' list, in the same way required skills & qualifications for groups are also shown.
