Adding People

To add people to the events management system, click on the 'People' section, then click 'Add Person', and fill in their details. For more information, click this link 

Granting people access

Information on how to grant people access to the system and sending them their login details can be found here. More detailed information on how to set permissions for people can be found here.

Finding contact details

To find the contact details for a specific person, go to People > List All, and then use the search bar to find the details of the person that you are looking for. You can also quickly find the contact details of key staff by clicking the 'Contact Details' link on your 'Home' dashboard. For more information, click this link

Availabilities

You can view the availabilities of staff and volunteers by clicking the 'People' section, and then clicking 'Availabilities'. For more details, click this link

Skills & Qualifications

You can record skils and qualifications for staff / volunteers by going to People > Skills and Qualifications, and then clicking on the qualification that you wish to assign. You will then be shown a list of people, and you can assign the qualification to a person by clicking on that person's row, or on their checkbox on the right-hand side of the page. Tracking hours

You can track the number of hours for each person by clicking on Hours > Show all. You can also view different types of hours under the 'General' tab of the aforementioned page. For more information, click this link

Timesheets

You can view timesheets for paid staff under People > Timesheets. For more information, click this link

Recruitment

It is possible to allow people to register with the events management system from your organisation's website. To manage the recruitment status for these sign-ups, view the details of the person whose recruitment you wish to manage, and then click the link next to their 'Status' field. for more details, click this link

Creating an Event

To create an event, click on the 'Events' section on the left-hand sidebar, click 'Add Event', and then fill in the details. For more information on creating events, click this link

Event Templates

If you often make events that are similar to one another, you can use event templates to create events more quickly. Templates can be created by going to Settings > Event Templates, and then clicking 'Add New Event Template'. Once you have saved your template, you can load it when creating a new event using the 'Templates' field. for more information, click this link

Event Rosters

To Roster people to an event, go to Events > Event Rosters, then click on the name of the event that you wish to roster people to, and then click 'Update Roster' for more information about rostering people to events, click here

Resources

In addition to people, you can also allocate resources to events. To create a resource, go to Resources > Add Resource. To allocate an existing resource to an event, view the event's details, and then click 'Allocate resources to this event'. For more information, click this link
