Issues

Any problems or issues with the system should be reported using the "Report an Issue" link at the bottom of the page.   

When reporting an issue, please include the following details (where applicable) when reporting a problem, as this will help to minimise the time required to reproduce and ultimately fix the problem you're having

  • When does the problem occur?
  • What are the symptoms of the problem?
  • Has this problem appeared recently? How long has this problem been occurring?
  • Does this problem occur consistently, or is it only appear randomly?
  • What are the steps required to produce the problem?
  • Are there any error messages? What do they say exactly?

Links to relevant pages and events, members, reports, etc should also be included. Screenshots and sample files/data are always very helpful if available.

Suggestions

Any suggestions for improvements or additions to the system should be made by clicking the 'Feedback' link at the bottom of the pages within the system. To help us understand exactly what you would like to be improved or added, please include as many details as you can. This could also be in the form of attached sample reports which you would like created or updated.

Issue / Suggestion resolution

Once you have raised an issue or suggestion, you will automatically receive an email containing a reference number for the issue / suggestion. If you would like to follow up on a suggestion or issue after it has been raised, please contact your manager, quoting this reference number for further information.

Software Updates

Updates, improvements and fixes to the software generally happen every few weeks, and can include anything from minor changes and additions, through to entirely new areas of the system for you to use.

These are done generally overnight when the system is least used, in order to minimise the impact to your staff and volunteers as much as possible. You won't need to do anything in order to use the updated system, just login and carry on work as normal!

You can keep tabs on what's been changed & added via the 'What's new' page. This page is updated each time a new version of the software is released.
